Add me to the list of fans of the character in just about any version. (There are limits -- I'm not sure I'd go for a MAX series -- but somehow I doubt that'll happen any time soon.) Partly, it's because I don't feel tied to any one version. The first time I encountered the character was in Jose Aguirre-Sacasa's Marvel Knights FF series, and I'm not sure what version that was. Humorous and Sensational, I think. Hard to say, since the focus of that issue is Sue, but I digress. Point is, I've familiarized myself with all versions of the character in a relatively short period of time, whereas others may have grown up with or focused on one version or another.
Most characters get reinvented over the years, but usually that's at the surface, and so they survive. I'm not positive anyone's really defined the core of this character. What's her official schtick? She-Hulk Smash? She-Hulk Smash the Fourth Wall? Jen Hides Behind She-Hulk? I like them all, don't get me wrong, and I almost get the feeling Mr. David was on the way to reconciling them (merging them?) before Marvel up and canceled the book.
On a happier note, Jen's finally showing up in the Yay!Verse in July. Maybe they'll see fit to push her there, as much as they push anything in the Marvel Adventures line...
