: Sure... but why did they give her JENNIFER'S
: BOOK?
Um...they didn't? Jen's book was already cancelled before Lyra was introduced.
: what, she couldn't have her own?
She has had her own miniseries (which guest starred Jen). And she is currently co-starring in a miniseries starring all three of the She-Hulks.
: As for the red one...
: How often was Venom running around in a
: Spider-Man book... while Spidey was either
: out of action or nowhere to be seen, hmmmmm?
Jen IS somewhere to be seen. She is seen in the first issue of the current She-Hulks miniseries (and will continue to appear for the remainder of it). She has her own one-shot coming later this month. She's in the upcoming HERALDS miniseries.
Jen may have been absent for the last couple of months...but that was a story point. Its not like Marvel just ignored her existance.
As for Venom running around in a Spider-Man book with Spidey nowhere to be seen...that was last year, during the SINISTER SPIDER-MAN miniseries, which starred Venom but did not have Spider-Man in it.
There was also a few issues of the MS MARVEL series that were starring Moonstone, without Carol Danvers in them. Logan got kicked out of the WOLVERINE series last year, and the book got turned over to his son Daken. So that sort of thing has actually been surprisingly common during "Dark Reign".
I can understand the frustration at Jen being sidelined recently--but I think you're exaggerating the situation a fair bit.
