: I always found it a bit suspcious that marvel
: didn't even take long with Jen's series to
: be canceled to put someone else All New
: Savage She-Hulk series. I think is what he
Granted, there wasn't a lot of turn-around time. But still, the existing SHE-HULK series *was* cancelled at the time, and Lyra got a miniseries not an ongoing solo book. And Jen was still appearing at the time. She was a significant guest star in the SAVAGE SHE-HULK mini; she was making several guest appearances in the HULK titles at the time; she had a brief cameo in MIGHTY AVENGERS, etc.
: Lets see Peter was still running as spidey
: in crappy post OMD stuff. Venom in Sinster
: series isn't even the real venom. It's
: scorpion as venom.
He is the "real" Venom these days--Mac Gargan became the new Venom 6 years ago! Eddie Brock is another character now.
In any case, that is completely irrelevant to the fact that there was a SPIDER-MAN miniseries that did not have Peter Parker in it.
: Ms Moonstone pretty much
: put the final nail in the Ms Marvel series.
Unfortunately, yes, that arc was the beginning of a major drop in the book's quality (which is sad, since Karla has a lot of potential...it just wasn't used well here). But again, that isn't relevant to my point.
: Dark Wolverine I have no idea what is kept
: that boat floating except for the Wolverine
Personally, I have found the DARK WOLVERINE series more interesting than Logan.
Anyway, my point remains that there are plenty of other examples of books where the title character is not the usual person to hold the name (one could even make an argument for the past two years of CAPTAIN AMERICA starring Bucky instead of Steve Rogers...), and unlike some of those other books, the real She-Hulk DID appear in all of these other "She-Hulk" books.
I'm not saying people can't or shouldn't be annoyed or frustrated by Jen being sidelined--I'm just suggesting that when they stretch the truth or twist the facts when making their complaints, it hurts their argument by undermining their credibility.
In any case, it should all be a moot point soon enough, since it looks like we'll be seeing plenty of the the original She-Hulk in the near future!
