: Eh, female characters in general get treated
: poorly in comics - what with rape being
: character development... at least Jen hasn't
: suffered that indignity. I hope her birthday
: brings her some good things.
Jen did go through the implied rape story with Eros, then again if somebody even tried, having kids would be the least of thier problems. I am looking forward to the issue, hopefully it will poke fun at Jen but in a nice fun way, nothing nasty.
: I find it somewhat ironic that Jen was on
: the Hulk title about long enough to probably
: hole her solo title beneath the waterline...
: but ah well, no point dwelling on that.
: Let's just hope she gets some broader
I was thinking that, but if they did keep her book going, the way thing have turned out it, I think her book would still be cancelled. Hopefully she comes out of this Ok, she is a character for Heroic Age.
: Yeah, I think if you're going to have
: another Hulk character, you have to do
: something different... OBVIOUSLY, Lyra is
: visually different as she got her mother's
: hair but I don't think pallet swaps are
: exactly what make for a good character - so
: to mix her abilities and invert one of the
: defining characteristics of a Hulk was a
: smart move.
Indeed like Jen, she is very different to the Hulk.
: Also, I'm going to say... Dan Slott should
: REALLY get someone to use his little known
: character Geiger - I mean, if she isn't
: going to do anything in a World War Hulks
: where you can't move for all the gamma
: powered creatures - when WILL she get used?
: Yes, I know The Initiative...
I am not too familliar with that much. Isn't her power she copies Gamma beings powers? I thinkl if she was in WWH's I think her powers would go into overload and she probably would die.
