: Jen connecting the two and acting as
: intermediary will certainly ease the tension
: but I expect there to still be some and have
: it dealt with.
If there is but its all Betty, Lyra is with the person she cares the most (Thundra excluded) Jen so she is happy for now. She has respect her father and the rest of the family but its still early days. Skaar is still getting used to having a dad.
: Fall of the She-Hulks wasn't long enough for
: any issues she had to be properly addressed.
: Add to that the fact her mental state during
: the whole Fall of the Hulk arc wasn't that
: great. As she learns to live with her hulked
: out self she may have to readdress certain
Maybe so but Incredible Hulks takes place a few days later. So maybe Jen has talked to her (They were good friends). But it seems Betty's real issues are with Bruce not Lyra.
: There is a big difference but it's still the
: sort of thing that'd make someone feel
: uncomfortable. Imagine meeting a child
: conceived with an ovary your wife donated.
: It'd be awkward
Even so, Lyra was created genetically. Skaar was created the natural way which is why Betty resents him more, I am guessing she feels betrayed that Bruce went and married another woman and had a child she could not have.
: I read and it does hint that she'll turn up
: but that's not the same as saying that
: she'll join the team on a permanent basis.
I will leave that at "you never know". But I think she will be a recurring character, I am sure she will want to get away from Bruce from time to time.
