I don't know how successful we'll be but we are trying to set 'HAWKGIRL the comic' up so that you don't have to know the history of the Hawks to read the title. We aren't ignoring the previous history; that informs the character's starting point for the book so to speak. But we are working to include enough information (without drowning a new reader) for the title to make sense on its own. Best/Walter
