Time for a Change!

Well it looks like DC is going to drag out Hawkmans return, this will kill off the title. DC does not have a master plan on how this book will develop as they have already shown that the story makes no sense and the creative team was a poor choise to start. Now that they got rid of Chakykin on art they need to get rid of Simoson as well. Im sorry but it does not look like this will happen until they cancel this title and they will cancel it early next year. What makes me mad is that they ruined a good book that was on its way to really being a top tier book but because of the Whole Identity crap it got swallowed up by a bad story. The Rann /Thanagerian War was a bad series that just dragged on and on with no end in site. And what did it do for DC? Nothing it just screwed up a bunch of their charatcers and went nowhere. Look at the whole Series and tell me what good did we get from it?...Nothing and poor Hawkman had to get caught uo in its mess. Now its not even over as Hawkgirl is still rambling through its after shock...DC really needs to listen to its fan base if they want to make money and compete with Marvel. These grand crossover stories are too convoluted and really dont do anything for the average comic fan who is not going to go and spend 50-60 bucks on comics every week. They need to build their B-list characters into Mian Event characters and really have to listen to what the fans want. There were so many avenues they could have taken with Hawkman - the bitter fued with Batman was reight there to build on. The whole Hath-set under story that Geoff Johns built in his early run was there..His new villans like Headhunter and Golden Eagel and the resurgence of the Fadeawayman and Lionmain could have done really well if they just built on it..Hawkman is a very multi-dimentional character that could be a major player fo DC if they just used him properly..Hawkgirl is a good supporting character for Hawkman and the sales show what the fans think of the changes made. In the end DC will elarn tha tthe Fans make the books not them.
