I know I'm being a litle unfair seeing how Starman #812 has been mostly in the background since his inauspicious debut but he just doesn't do anything at all for me. Not a big fan of the all over starfield costume (Sorry, Mister Cockrum), especially with the addition of the featureless mask. It all makes him inaccessible looking. Then there's the whole faux crazy thing. It's unfair to compare this latest iteration against Robinson's grand opus or Roger Stern's fantastic creation but have you noticed the one character in both the JSA and Legion is fairly peripheral to everything? It's like Starman bores the creators too. Hopefully Starman gets the tweaks needed for longetivity or makes way for another Starman soon...
