Posted by James Hunter on 8/4/2005, 1:50 pm, in reply to "Come on we got Captain Comet, Prince Gavin, Hawkwoman," Adam Strange has been cool since his mini, I also LIVE seeing some Thanagarians (they've had so many home planets destroyed you have to feel sorry for them!) and, in particular, seeing Blackfire again is cool :-D Vril Dox's cameo was good to, as has Kilwog's been . I've already said that I lke Shayera Thal and the same is true of Carter and Kendra. Indeed, captain Comet is the only thing even VAGUELY like a weak link to my mind (I've ead plenty of Green Lantern, just prior to and post-Crisis and I'd never heard of the man, he seems remarkably obscure for this title!) Cheers. James. --Previous Message--

Definitely! :-D, whilst I thought Gibbons worte Kyle as far too naive in #1 and, honestly, to like Hal in #2 I felt that he hit the right balance with Kyle in #3 :-)
: Green Lantern, Adam Strange, many different
: planets and races involved. It is cool.
: :-)
:
: Had to do some brush up on Captain Comet and
: some of the others. :-)

: Only that I agree with you, it has been
: consistantly the best, superb art and a
: well-structured mini (unlike the other
: Countdown tie-ins, I don't personally think
: it's had a weak issue!)
:
: I'm also thrilled to see Sheira Thal,
: Hawkwoman in #3, and I hope she survives the
: issue, but the cover to #5 and #6 suggests
: that's unlikely.
:
: Cheers.

: It seems like it is the best of these
: limited
: series.
:
: Anyone have any thoughts on it?
