"I" personally .. have WHY, at their age, is it necessary to do that? As I said in my previous post, leave 'em alone. Let them enjoy this as a holiday with snow, twinkling lights, etc. If they were your kids, I'd say, sure, go ahead and teach them some pagan stuff in an age-appropriate manner, but since they are your grandkids (and I'm assuming not pagan), then please, for goodness sakes, leave personal politics out of it. Someday .. when they are older .. I would really discuss this with their parents first. After all, would you have wanted your parents telling you how to raise your kids when they were young? We may or may not like or agree with how other people bring up their children religiously, but they have the right to do as they see fit, as long as they are not abusing or neglecting the children. SINCE they're not your kids, I would wait until a) they are old enough to understand and you have their parents' permission to share your faith with them or b) until they are adults.

: little "difficult" to explain to

: (Pagan) holidays .. like Yule .. and
: bastardized them into what they are today ..
: *shrugs*
: perhaps I can explain the difference between
: the birth of the son (of God/Akasha) .. and
: the birth of the "sun" .. as with
: Persephone/Hades .. or how that all plays
