What you need to do is to instead look inward and figure what you believe, what you have experienced, and how you feel about things --- and let those internal things be your guides. If I am looking for a 'G' word to define Witchcraft, it'd be "Gut" and not "Guru". Beyond that, here is my best advice: Ask questions, listen to the answers, research, read, get your Bullsh*t meter out and put it on 'ready alert', keep your eyes open, go for long walks, observe everything, believe nothing that you are told until you have discovered for yourself that it is true, be flexible and willing to change your mind, get your nose out of books and off the internet often and bravely experiment with what you've learned so far, listen to your gut, hug trees and kiss rocks, look up, look down, look sideways, look inward, look for things that you think *might* be there, do more research, ask more questions, realize that you will never know everything there is to know, and so on and so on and so on.
