Bid my daughter good luck ...

She is getting married later on today. It is around 4 AM where I live .. and I just can't get back to sleep (with anticipation) of the event to occur (later today). She is my FIRST BORN daughter (of three) to get hitched .. but my second born actually got hitched (and divorced) years ago .. so .. in actuality this ISN'T the first time I've been through all this. I am here (today) to solicit good tidings for the happy couple .. (if you'd care to). "HE" is a "Pagan" .. although not Wiccan (like myself) .. he's a decent sort of fella .. and is "good" to her .. NOT "typical" in ANY sort of way. When giving the reception toast (tomarrow) .. I plan on invoking the spirits of Sol/Gaia to bring them happiness (as it were) .. and speak of "marriage" as "turning a page" (in the book of life). "I" couldn't make MY marriage work .. but I WAS married to HER for 28 years .. and was "with" her for 33 years (total)! Not a bad score (by today's standards) .. ya know ? I only hope my daughter (Coleen) can do as well. Well .. he IS a Pagan .. so .. she has a better than even chance of things turning out O.K. (in the end).... (crosses fingers). (raises glass in toast) .. so .. here is to the happy couple .. eeh ? *Grins* May they have the happiness that "I" had .. way back when !! Please feel free to invoke me up a spell or two for their happiness .. eeh ? I'll tell her of your good "wishes" (later) .. eeh ? Wish her "luck" !! *Grins again* ..
Sorry for bringing this to you so late. I am sitting here .. spying out my window at the "Blood Moon" of October .. STILL full from the night before's cresting. A CLEAR full moon (for once) .. bright/beautiful and all. Like I said .. just send along some invocations for good luck .. eeh ?
