Posted by Sarah the SwampWitch I think you just have to learn at your own rate and speed, no matter how hard it is to study. Perhaps there are some learning techniques that you can try that will help you out? I am dyslexic and I know that often times if I SEE something, I can learn it much easier than if I am forced to read about it. Maybe you can find a grove or circle or coven or kindred that would be willing to take you on as a student/apprentice? Most small groups have teachers that teach in real life, one to one and you might find that a good way to learn, if you can get them to use lots of visuals in their teachings. At any rate, good luck in your journey. P.S. The fact that I am dyslexic and had to learn to hyper-focus in order to read and write has proved to be a wonderful asset for my life as a Witch. I find when I shift into hyper-focus spell mode, I am very hard to distract. Maybe you too can learn to turn your learning disability into an asset?
