Early in the daytime .. I went to the graveyard and raked (cleaned up) my ancestors graves .. all 10 of them. I left a "penny" on each of their gravestones as I do EVERY year .. (X's three). I had a nice conversation with each one .. then .. left. Later that night .. I consecrated my new "sphere" down in the woods .. out back of where I live. It isn't finished yet .. but .. I made "do". This was/is the FIRST time that I got to use/wear my new "ceremonial cape/robe" that I recently bought as well. *grins* It was GREAT !! I brought my best incense .. a red candle .. my (handmade) "staff" .. and an "offering bowl" .. with sacred dirt along with "sea salt" .. for consecration purposes. Previously (last year) .. I gathered a baby-food jars worth of dirt from each one of their graves .. for Witchcraft purposes .. so .. that's what I consider "sacred dirt" (as it were). THIS was my first occasion being down in the woods at NIGHT .. and it was "spooky" *grins*. But everything went fine ! NOW .. my "sphere" is a consecrated piece of ground .. and I can use it accordingly !! I also used this time of year to cast a few "personal" spells .. which went well. *grins again* All things considered .. everything went as expected. So ends another "Samhain" season .. can't wait for Yule !! *grins yet again*
