Hey all
Thanks for the interest in the new indoor event. I'll give as much info as I can. The dates are march 12,13,14 2009 at crossroads USA in Cloverdale IN. on I-70 between terra hut and indy.
the pull is put on by Klint Tucker and his group at whatssmokin promotions. Besides mini's there will be many other tractor and truck classes.
the building is new and will have 2 300 ft tracks, and indoor parking for 200 pulling vehicles!!
The best thing to do is go to the web site whatssmokin .net click on event then click on2008 so. shootout, then click on rules and regulations. this will give ya the guideline we ran at Duquion IL. the last 2 yrs.
When you get to the rules and regs remember that the basic weights have gone up 50 lbs this year. You will also notice that we do a little handicapping with weights to try even things out with different rules the different clubs run.
This year it was agreed to run the WI. and MO. tractors at the same 1850 weight. If your club runs rules different from what you see Let Klint and or me know and we will come up with solution to include every tractor out there!! No one has ever been turned down at theese pulls
It also good to note that class jumping has been accepted and encourged. I have not talked with Klint yet, but I will see if we can get two classes and a final for the 1950lb- blown Sm Blk, NA Big Blk class. if we can get 30 entries, I think we can do it!
Lets show everyone how many good mini's are out there from many different clubs!
