Near where the exhaust starts there is an extra pipe coming off of it. if you saw that pipe off then you will hav derestricted the exhaust. usually all of the fumes and engine smoke are forced through into this pipe and then back out of it again this greatly restricts the bike. so if you take that pipe off then the air an fumes will run freely through the exhaust. the first few days afta you hav taken this pipe off the engine will sound a bit 'rough' but this is normal as it is tryin to unblock itself. after that it will run perfectly. my scooter does 40mph on the flat now that i have done that. the acceleration is also greatly improved!!!! hope this was a great help to you! snowy!
