HI mate tecnigas r pipe will do the trick dont worry about the rear drum bit one size fits all I have a 2001 ap with a tecnigas r chrome pipe on it and have also changed the rollers int he variator, when you take the variator of and change the rollers do not replace the retaining ring on the rear of the variator, it helps the bike find its top gearing if it aint there.
I think you are being a bit optimistic with the top speed 45 maybe unless of course you put a big bore kit on it but then you will run the risk of blowing the crank
