Posted by mark on 12/5/2007, 11:16 am, in reply to "peugeot jetforce 50cc ctec" 1)remove the cover where the kick start is ,and behind there you will see 2 variators using an airgun remove the nut on the front variator and remove the pulley,turn it over and you will see a plate that is held on with 3 screws remove the screws and discard the plate. 2)look at the exhaust and you will see a piece of pipe about 6 inches long pointing upwards and going nowhere now this needs to be cut off and welded up as flush to the exhaust pipe as possible. 3)enjoy your scooter you should be able to get 45mph - early 50's out of it now. explaination of whats been done the front variator the higher the belt moves up the pulley the faster the scooter can go,and what the plate on the back does is restricts how high up the belt can move so by removing the plate the belt can travel to the highest point . the exhaust pipe the quicker the burnt gases can get out of the engine the better so the smoother the gas flow the quicker this can happen,having this dummy pipe on here creates turbulance and therefore the gasses take longer to get out
