How to fully deresrict my speedfight 2

i have already cut the extra pipe off of my exhaust but will i have to chage the original carb jets to bigger ones and when putting the variator back on should i put locktite glue on it. (it was a rumor?!) and can you put a big bore kit into a 50cc air cooled puget scoot. cheerz
