hey...what you want to do is take the transmission cover off, then you wil be faced with the whole "drive train" unit. On the left is the variator and on the right is the clutch. What you need to do is work on the variator on the left. Firstly, undo the centre nut on it using a impact wrench ideally, but a whack with a socket and wrench plus hammer should do it. Then remove the outer half of the variator and then you should see a little nylons washer, REMOVE this. Reassemble, and LOCKTITE THE CENTRE NUT ON REASSEMBLY cos if that comes undone then its a walk home. HOpe this helps,
