Together we are strong!

I live in a basement apartment.
When I moved in there was no mould to be seen. However a few weeks (1-2) in to living here I started to cough a lot at night. I said there was mould, I could just feel it. But I couldn't see it anywhere. Until 2 weeks ago I found it. It was on the walls of my bedroom and on a wall by the front door/kitchen area.
I told my landlord and her fix-it guy came and told me the wall wasn't damp and there was no sign of water damage so it was nothing to worry about (this was in the bedroom). I insisted I was having respiratory problems and if he could look into it more I would appreciate it.
I then moved my bed and found MORE! This is right beside where I sleep and so does my partner. I was very upset at this point. I went over by my front door to look for something and found a lot more. I went to touch the wall and my finger went through it! It's been wet and expanded and now is dry enough to crack.
I told my landlord and she said that the apartment had been closed up for most of the summer and maybe thats why it was mouldy. However that is not my concern, I live here now! She said she'd drop off a dehumidifier this past week but nothing has happened.
Last night I started to feel ill with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. I feel pretty gross right now and I'm thinking it has to do with the apartment.
Where do I go from here?
