New Superintendent

Hi. My building has just got a new Super and he is determined to make a lot of changes, some good, some not so good. The thing that is bugging me is, he's expecting us to give him a whole lot of additional information that the landlord should already have. I have heard some stories about this new guy, and while I don't want to believe gossip I'm a little wary of giving him my email address, and information I think my landlord has already, so why would the super need me to provide him with it? I live alone and try to be cautious, or in this case am I being overly sensitive? What info should a super be entitiled to? Why hasn't the landlord provided him with the info he is asking for? What should he have the right to ask for?
