No. The landlord problem is not your problem, nor does it take away from your rights. Give your 60 day notice to vacate - for the time you want to vacate --Previous Message-- : next month (september) is my last month under : what i assume to be a standard year least : : what i want to happen is to go : month-to-month until december, at which : point i plan to go travel : : anyway i bumped into the landlord yesterday, : and he asked if i'd be staying for another : year. i said probably not, and that i was : thinking about travelling in the winter : : he told me that if i wasn't staying a year : that he wanted me out by october, because : it's hard to rent a place after that : particular month : : do i have to leave in october? i really : don't want to move to a new place (let alone : find somewhere that immediately rents : month-to-month) for nov/dec. that would : suck. : : help!? :
