With my experience, the law and the Toronto council are crap, useless, a waste of space.... We had a condo downtown with noisy neighbours, bass music 12am to 5am.... I was on meds due to lack of sleep in the end. We moved to a detached house and the neighbours have a high efficiency furnace, which is on 24/7 and I can't sleep, the council won't do anything, nor will the landlord nor the neighbour, apparently I am being over sensitive.....Move and save yourself the agro of living with selfish neighbours....because the law won't do anything to help good honest people... --Previous Message-- : Recently our landlord had allowed some young, : 20 somethings to rent in our building, now, : it seems like they have all their friends : moving in to each vacant apartment that : comes up. So now we have three or four : units, (in a low rise building) that have : parties every night of the week. Now : Summer's here they all stand out on their : balconies until all hours, drinking, yelling : and making a nuisance of themselves. Our : building manager seems a bit intimidated by : them and the landlord is useless. What can : we do? I get up at 5a.m. every weekday for : work and it's taking a toll, I'm : exhausted!!! :
