Although a lawyer is required for Divisional Court matters, the lawyer can use a lower priced paralegal to do parts of the work and therefore save the client some money.
A current unfairness is that a paralegal that represents a tenant at the Landlord Tenant Board, can not represent the tenant at Divisional Court.
I would like to see that changed.
