Well I managed to get a phone hearing. They basically told me to do what I offered the landlord in the first place. To pay all rent January 1st like I told my landlord I would do.
I have now done this, and the file is closed. The landlord raised my rent as much as he could to retaliate against me and failing to evict me.
I wish my landlord wasn't such an evil person. All of this could of been avoided in the first place if he just believed me, and took my letter in writing as proof I would pay him and save me the 170 bucks.
Yes he does depend on my rent for mortgage, but if he hasn't even budgeted 2 months rent in case of emergency that he flies off the handle, then he has no business trying to suck as much money from me as he can. Things happen....and I could not pay him any sooner and I hope other lanlords read this and understand that being a jerk is not going to get you money faster, it just sours the LL and tenant relationship....and that's it.
