John,
If this matter was denied a review by the Courts, I wonder if the LTB has any further jurisdiction.
Contact an organization called ACTO - http://www.acto.ca/en/publications.html
They are lawyers who will take on cases that may set precedence for tenants in Ontario.
Can you post your LTB File Number?

: Hi,
:
: My family and I are north of you all in
: Toronto, here in Alliston, and I was curious
: if I can reach out to you here or if you
: know of a support group in my area. We have
: suffered the complete loss of our home,
: belongings and personal effects due to the
: negligence of our landlord. We won our case
: for just under $25K and now, after being
: denied 2 reviews by the Tribunal and one
: another one by Divisional Court they (an
: Ontario Ltd. Corporation) has managed to get
: a Vice Chair to reopen their case on Feb.
: 6th and hear why he didn't show up to the
: original hearing in September and granted
: the case to be heard again! We have lost
: over $35K and so much more that I won't bore
: you with it as I know so many of us have
: lost, but I need help!
:
: Please, if you have any direction or ideas
: please let me know.
