I'm currently a renter in Forest Hill and our building has run into the problem of having neighbourhood residents let their dogs go potty all over our front lawn. If that wasn't bad enough, now some residents are getting lazy and also allowing their dogs to go on the front lawn. As you can imagine, not everyone picks up after their dog, so there's poop everywhere. Now that it's getting warmer out, the pee is starting to smell as well. I've asked my superintendant and the property ownership to post signs for the public (something along the lines of "No Dogs Allowed") and issue memos to the residents about letting their dogs on there but, so far, nothing has been done. I believe this is not only disrespectful and irresponsible for owners to let their dogs do this but it's really bad the property ownership is allowing it to happen. My dog was also viciously attacked 2.5 weeks ago as well on our front lawn (by a neighbourhood dog which stopped to pee on our front grass), is there any Health and Safety laws or bylaws the property ownership is failing to meet or maintain in all of this?
