I have rescued some young horses that I fully intended to break, and bought others I intended to train and breed for myself. My husband was recently in a semi-vs-semi head on accident and after 9 months, finally lost his left leg. I cannot take the chance of injury myself by breaking these horses, as I'm the only able-bodied person here! I am heartbroken, but I must ask for help from anyone who can provide these promising horses a good home. I'll tell you about them, they are all sound: PMU (probably TB/QTR cross). 4 year gelding. Solid bay. At least 16 Hands, but with a lot of bone & muscle. Some groundwork. Kind. Good prospect for almost anything. I rescued him for $1,000; anything would be of help now! I have papers to register him in the PMU registry! PMU (probably QTR). 4 year filly. Liver Chestnut, she is scared, was rescued from a family that didn't know any better and would put her in a squeeze chute to halter her! She has a lot of potential, and would give her heart to the right person that has the time to be consistent with her! I don't have that time anymore! She'd be a great one-person horse that could devote that time! Stocky but feminine! I rescued her for $1,000; anything would help! Have papers to register in PMU registry! PMU: (probably QTR) 4 year gelding, bay with white star. Very sweet and kind! Great mind! Have been on 3 times, no problems! Stocky! Great potential here! Wish I could keep this one! I rescued him for $1,000; anything would help! I have papers to register him in the PMU registry! AQHA BUCKSKIN MARE, 23 or so, broke to ride, solid buckskin, previous brood mare, I bought to breed for 1 foal, clear sonogram, stocky build. I bought for $1,000; anything would help! AQHA Dark Grey Gelding w/Silver Tail, 5 year Gelding. I bought this one to train for myself, as I just had to put my 35 year old gelding down. He's almost black, with a silver tail, and is built for most anything! Some ground work, good mind, hate to see him go, but now I have no time! Great potential here!
