And considering the characters who've become Select, they clearly aren't going to stay part of the Phalanx after this storyline. I think worrying that this is going to be a permanent change is just as silly as the people who worried that Nova was permanently dead at the end of last issue. --Previous Message--

Why not? Why should he escape, when Ronin, Super-Skrull, Gamora, and the Spaceknights didn't escape? These are some of Marvel's biggest cosmic characters.
: All I'm saying is Rich didn't need to be a
: part of it, or bring him in at the end for
: assistance only. Not turn him into a Borg!

: I guess the cover of #7 wasn't fake. I don't
: like them turning Rich into a killer! I hate
: Gamora, so it doesn't surprise me she's the
: reason
: he was turned. If DnA didn't want him in the
: story, they could have just made the barrier
: before Rich got to Kree space. Thus him
: being locked out. He could have headed into
: space to
: try and find a means to break the barrier.
: Or
: to recruit new corps members to come back
: and try to get in. Even though I don't
: personally want the corps back. If Ko
: survives, she's enough. Just in case
: anything ever happens to Rich.

: What did everyone think?
:
: I thought the parts where Rich was healing
: was pretty cool.
:
: Nova 0001 is a great addition to the Nova
: cast!

: I think doing this crossover any other way
: would have felt like redoing what happened
: in the first one. It was a great story and
: the themes should be revisited but it's too
: soon. Rich being temporarily (I hope)
: Select-ed and Korel being the last hope of
: the Nova Corps sounds like a good way to
: avoid repetition.
