One of the thing that interests me is that the mind of the individual--in this case Nova--who has been "turned into a villain" is still who the person is. They, in effect, have to watch themselves do things they don't want to. I am hoping, and this has already been done in the series, they will delve into the minds of the "turned," see what they are thinking, feeling, etc. What a great opportunity for character development and insight!
: A few fans are concerned that Nova is now a
: villain.I think one of you said he didn't
: need to be in Conquest (I think Bless your
: hearts. All of us Nova fans would be up in
: arms is Rich did not participate in
: Conquest. He had to. He is the big gun, so
: he had to be a part. And although he is
: "not the main hero" his issues
: sure don't suggest he has a tiny part. I
: mean, great stuff is occurring in his
: issues.
:
: Even though Rich was turned, well, the story
: is just excellent reading. And we know he's
: not going to die, so I'm just enjoying the
: ride. Nova, a cosmic character, is one of
: the main participants of two major cosmic
: storylines. I am happy this is different
: from the Cosmic Cube, Thanos Quest, Warlock,
: Avengers Galactic Storm, and Fantastic Four
: stories where Rich played a tiny or no part.
: These two cosmic tales, in my opinion, are
: just better, more gritty, more science
: fictiony (yeah, I made the word up) more
: bloody, and more impactful.
:
: Enjoy the ride. Our Nova is still playing a
: major role. Like Doug said, they cannot
: repeat Annihilation. And right off, we see
: they are not trying to.
