I picked up my issue today (Thursday). I have not read it yet, but flipped through it. It looks great.
An aside:
At my not so local comic shop, another fan harrassed me for purchasing and enjoying Nova (no big deal). He said he has toilet paper at home, so he did not read Nova. When I asked if he had ever read Nova, he told me no. He then told me the only thing he read concerning Nova was Civil War. Not the Nova issues which had the "Initiative" banner, but Civil War!!! Nova was not in Civil War, but the New Warriors were.
I just wish if people are going to consider stuff garbage, they would at least know what they were talking about. But I wasn't bothered by him. He was a good natured comic fan. I just wish he would have taken my advice and read at least one issue of Nova before being critical. He had a good number of Marvel comics (and probably other publisher's). I think he would have found that Nova rocks.
