Interview was very informative on the approach the writer's are taking regarding Nova's role in this. One thing that I am a little bothred by is that they seem to have already determined that Rider is less powerful than the Surfer ..... sigh. Sounds like the same slot they put Wendell Vaughn (Quasar) into. If the full Nova Force isn't up to even the surfer's level .. then it's no wonder the entire Nova Corps is just used as a sacrificial lamb plot device. By implication this means the Rider may not be as powerful as Classic Thor, Gladiator or any of the herelds ... Heck .... even Ronan is as powerful as SoME of the heralds .... he defeated a skrull that was impersonating the Surfer ... that same skrull had defeated the surfer in combat. Oh well .....
