This special anniversary mark issue was regular price which made the issue intrinsically special...
Nova #25
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=2662&disp=table
And its ongoing great story/art/&colors made it entertainingly special! Still think he may be too powerful to handle in the standard MU superhero comic title character (though nothing much to complain so far) but adding the full Nova Force to Richard's reportoire(sp) could make this worse logistically.
Also the raised Quasar chest symbol hologram was a bit copycattish of the GLC thing thats been established.
Other than that its was all good.
Cover.
Worldmind/Ego connection revealed.
Brother Robert being heroic.
Qubit the faithfully fun sidekick.
Decent Mentor spotlight and crossover.
Excellent Quantum Bands usage.

Fantastic inclusion of Ko-Rel (not just a oneshot fillin)!!!
Mad as a bag of Badoons.
Good fightback planning confab.
Scary boogey-man image in the window.
Keeewl splash return.
Things look promising for Quasar in the MU.
Nova Force continuity and perfect Garthan Saal tidbit thrown into the drama building.
Refreshing variation on the out-logic a machine solution!!!
Surprisingly moved by a powerful good-bye!!!
Perfect tease ending on TWO fronts.
Good buy, eh?
