I'm expected some answer that ties into Age of Ultron considering Rich's appearance in the background. If these aren't the 616 Guardians then I'm not sure I'd be entirely upset about that. I'm still wondering why Starlord showed up in Avenger's Assemble with his Element Gun (which was destroyed) and he wasn't wearing his Kree equipment. At least they are giving him back his mask.
: Looks like TL and others who speculated this
: were on to something as soon as it was known
: that Gorath escaped the Cancerverse. BMB may
: indeed have planned this story as soon as he
: started writing GOTG and beginning with the
: return of Quill, Drax and Thanos in Avengers
: Assemble. Age of Ultron we saw Rich in some
: distressed situation in a Quill flashback
: I stopped buying NINO around issue #6, right
: before Inifnity started but did buy the
: issue where Rich is in flashback saving BRB.
: I do check out the issues at LCS shops.
: There are a number of possible theories that
: writers could use to "get rid of"
: Rich at thier discretion. Its sad its come
: to this. Its very easy for comic book
: readers to say "its only comic
: books" especially when thier favorite
: characters aren't on the "chopping
: block" or put on the "hit
: Nova V4 was what made me look forward to
: collecting a regular series again.
: Thanks for posting the scans. I am also with
: those who are really reserved about the OS
: issues coming up next. Perhaps there is the
: chance we will see Rich return at the
: conclusion. Its the way he will return
: that's made us pretty uneasy.
: I still dislike the idea of NINO in the 616.
: The concept was Cool, the execution was
: Poor. Marvel had some plans for a young Rich
: in the Marvel Super Action series aimed for
: kids. Then USM came along.
: Since Wacker and Breevort insist that Sam is
: here to stay then at least give him his own
: ORIGINAL super hero name and leave the title
: of NOVA for Richard Rider since that is what
: Rich called himself and was "The Man
: Called Nova".
: Having Rich mentor the boy would be okay.
: Have the boy stay on Earth, hang out with
: the New New Warriors while Rich is Nova out
: in space.
: People talk about our supposed
: "closed-mindedness" and resistance
: to "change. Not all change is good or
: for the better. Tyrants like Adolf Hitler
: and his National Party wanted
: "change" starting with a new
: regime. What if the USA gave up to Britain
: during the Revolutionary War?
: There was a special reason why Nova V4 was
: so well-received by both fans and critics
: Just last week I saw a YouTube review for
: the new Marvel Legends Infinite
: Marvel's Nova" figure and the reviewer
: was clearly a big Rich fan, NINO...er well
: not so much, LOL.

: The other day Marvel revealed this superb
: piece from Arthur Adams for Original Sin -
: now I noticed Nova (Sam) but an eagle eyed
: Rich Rider fan saw that in the montage in
: one of the Watcher's Eye reality panels is
: Nova Prime, Thanos, Starlord and they seem
: to be observing a Many Angled One - perhaps
: Shuma Gorath! Attached scans of the art
: showing where it is and a close up. So is
: the Fan theory that Rich was taken host by a
: Many Angled One and had to be taken down by
: Peter and Thanos true - or will the
: Rich.Thanos Merger scenario win out - or is
: it even more despicable - August ain't that
: far away.
