In the preview pages for GotG 18 and the recent advance reviews, everyone has referred to Rich as Richard Ryder. So is this a lazy mistake, as some have claimed, or is this Marvel actually re-naming the character? There are CERTAINLY valid reasons to change the spelling of Rich's last name.
Which begs the question, "why both re-naming a character you are planning to leave dead?"
And yes, I realize he was never actually dead; but that certainly seems to be the Marvel conception of the events in TTI.
