AND--what is up with Rocket being so casual about the fate of Nova???? When does BMB get to pen the story where the real Rocket is replaced by the Cancerverse Rocket and no one notices???

: It was what it was... I guess it could have
: been much worse and Rich being energy now
: could leave the door open for a writer to do
: a cooler story in the future. This one felt
: like it was something BMB had to do not some
: awesome story he was itching to show us.
:
: I'm done with Guardians until they get a new
: writer at least. I'll jump to Guardians
: 3000 too I think. I'm still collecting
: Sam's book, but man the last couple issue
: have been uninteresting. I think I might be
: done with him too. He's just too
: disconnected from his heritage. I thought
: they would plug Sam in more, but now we are
: on issue 22 and we really only got that
: small scene with Cosmo and his story arc
: with Rocket. Both (while old friends of
: Rich) are tangential to the old Nova run.
:
: The old run was great. I'm still scratching
: my head as to why they would want to
: distance themselves from it both in Nova and
: in GOTG.
:
: At least MCU is making the right moves.
: Carol getting her own movie is awesome, and
: a female lead MCU movie is long overdue.

: I thought GotG #20 was sloppy (for lack of a
: better term). The writing felt disjointed,
: almost jarring in points. Rich takes down
: Thanos but we didn't see any of it. I
: honestly had to double check that I wasn't
: missing a page.
:
: And it was rushed. Thanos takes out the
: Revengers in about two seconds by himself
: after it's been made clear everyone had been
: fighting and fighting to a draw for hours.
: And we didn't get to see that either.
:
: And the art was a real mess. Different
: inkers and different artists. Other than the
: pages where McGuiness obviously had time to
: do them properly (mostly the ones we saw in
: the preview pages), the art was really rough
: to look at. And it didn't flow very well in
: a storytelling way especially at the
: conclusion of Rich's story.
:
: Two interesting things about Rich's return.
:
: Given that Rich is back in the 616 but in an
: energy form, it explains how Sam has access
: to the Nova Force. I used to think the Black
: Novas had stored a certain amount of it when
: they were illegally accessing it but now it
: can be said that it's because the Nova Force
: is back.
:
: Also, I think we saw Rich in Sam's series in
: the beginning. I don't mean Jesse though. In
: Loeb's origin arc, McGuinness made it a
: point to keep showing a blue comet in the
: sky. I never thought that was a throwaway
: point. With the conclusion of GotG #20, I
: think that comet is Rich in his energy form.
: Now if that was planned that way or if it's
: a nice coincidence, I don't know.
:
: The Nova Prime helmet that Adomox has could
: be Rich's or it could possibly be Malik
: Tarcel's. I'd guess it's Tarcel's since the
: last time we saw him, his helmet had been
: left behind.
