Matt- I also liked the Yost attempt. It was not perfect, but a NW book has to be almost perfect to work. It needs to be really set up in a major event.
Marvel deconstructed the warriors in a major event, they owe it to the NW to reconstruct them as well.

: The art is the real worrying factor in
: Guardians 3000 but gotta say i prefer it
: over David Baledon's in the Nova title -and
: in the end the plots and concepts Abnett
: does always make for fine reading, more
: amount of imagination than any of the other
: Cosmic writers have these days. If anyone
: can time-shift Rich into the 30th Century
: its Abnett; I mean its not improbable at all
: - done that with Miguel O'Hara from 2099 to
: 2014 so can be done. Just one thing though.

: In the last run we had Robbie and Vance.
: Then
: they brought Silhouette back into the team.
: At the end of the run Vance talks to Old
: Steve telling him he's not going back to the
: Avengers. The New Warriors are here to stay
: and he's expanding the team. The future
: shot shows what looks like Rage, Night
: Thrasher and Namorita so the books was
: heading toward bring back most of the old
: members. Since they never really disband
: the team I guess it's still going on in the
: background.
:
: It was a good run. It felt like a fun old
: fashion super hero team book. They even
: deal with some pretty old fashion characters
: (The High Evolutionary, The Eternals) for
: most of the run. The only parts that didn't
: work were Sam and Sun Girl. Mostly because
: the book never bother to spend any time on
: them so they kind of sit in the background
: most of the time.
:
: I guess what I'm saying is if they just
: picked up at issue 13 of the last book I
: think you'd have your wish minus Rich (for
: obvious reasons). To be honest right now
: I'm hoping Rich finds his way into Guardians
: 3000 somehow. Bad art aside the world Dan
: Abnett is creating over there seems much
: more interesting.

: A short wait for the next iteration of New

: Some hint as to what is happening with
: Rich's Noa Corp supporting cast from the

: for all us Nova fans? Share your views at
