Even though I read Sam, it was too goofy and too child-like. There were things I liked, but, the character was written more goof-bally. And the art was not what I liked, again, too kiddy. That being said I HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THE NEW NOVA. The art is outstanding. The story is much more serious, and is life and death. It is not jokey jokey. And I love post-apocalyptic stories. This world is deadly. I am looking forward to issue two.
That being said. If Marvel made this an ongoing series, I see a lot of "fans" who would say "screw this!" I love quality comics. If Marvel continued with this story, after the limited series, I would be all in.

: 95,000 readers agree the new version is way
: better than Sam who got 18,000 for his last
: issue. Now add in RR and splice in the new
: concepts from this series and you'd have a
: great series everyone can enjoy. Of course
: the folks at CBN won't like this at all -
: but then they don't represent all RR fans;
: they only think they do. NMB is a bit more
: liberal to all tastes!

: I love me some Richard Rider. And I know

: I'm sorry. Did you read those preview pages
