btw, I mentioned "rucking up" not too long ago here in the NMB as a number of we Nova/Richard Rider fans are military veterans ourselves.
I only have a copy of IG #1 because it was free store credit and was a blank cover variant for which either I or a professional artist could use to draw Richard Rider. I have not drunk the Kool-Aid, completely given in or have sold out. Weaver did actually improve upon Duggan's written treatment. I am no fan of Duggan and he is not a real Cosmic Marvel writer anyway.
I'm proud of the fact that I am among the number of more conservative fan base.

I know in my heart we loyal fanbase Nova fans are in the right. Its always harder to go against change, just for the sake of change. Change may be constant, but not all change is good. Damn the more liberal popular school kid mentality.

: I love me some Richard Rider. And I know
: there is a contingent of people who believe
: that we must boycott any version of Nova
: that is not Richard Rider until we throw
: enough of a tantrum to get him back.
: I'm sorry. Did you read those preview pages
: from the next issue? The new Smoking Hot
: Mom Nova is freaking awesome! I am
: completely and totally sold on seeing her
: story. I am more excited in a few pages of
: this than I was for the entire Sam Alexander
