I am a little impatient to get to the rest of the daddy issues part of the storyline and see how this plays out. These last two issues were a diversion.
Sam is at his best when he is pissed. When he gets an "OK, I have had it" and really lets loose. Not as much of a fan of the sullen depressed teenager version. But, then, I'm not a teenager anymore so I can't identify as much.
It's certainly believable for his character.
But I've always wanted to see more "F, yeah!" moments with Sam. Hopefully they are coming soon.
I think this will take off, so to speak, when he gets off of Earth and starts getting into Nova history, as promised.
: Nova Issue #4 !!! I enjoyed it, then again
: everyone knew I would!!!
: Marvel first family feel here, well for me
: anyway. I would love to elaborate... but...
: but... anyway
: NEXT ISSUE: DADDY'S HOME!
