This is kind of what I've been saying Marvel should do and I've got no idea why it took them so long to get it, but better late than never! Just glad to finally have Rich back and to be able to follow along with new adventures. There will be highs and there will be lows, for sure, but that's always been the case for every superhero. Hopefully the direction the comic takes is a good one and we get some good stories.
Like you said, it's really the best thing they could have announced with the fan base being so divided. If it's successful, maybe we'll one day see two Nova books launched. A solo for Sam's fans and a Nova Corps book that has Rich for RR's fans. But before we could even get there, we need to show Marvel that the fanbase could sustain two books.
My guess is they'll explain how the black Nova's are being powered and it's got to do with Rich and that's how he's brought back.
It'll be good to finally have an ongoing series book in my hands each month again!

: Bleeding Cool news reports the return of
: Richard Rider this November. Apparently,
: Sam Alexander will also be in the series.
:
: This is probably for the best. Richard
: Rider fans get him back. Sam Alexander fans
: retain him.
:
: I have always thought the way to go was a
: mentor/protege route with them where Sam is
: part of a new Nova Corp and Richard is
: acting as Nova Prime rebuilding it.
:
: Sam can focus on Earth threats and Richard
: on cosmic ones.
