Posted by Kerrville on 4/28/2007, 8:04 am, in reply to "Day 1 at the WHS Reunion" Out at the ranch the crew was waiting for us. How beautiful! You can see forever. The crew took us out in an old school bus to see the animals. The driver did an excellent job introducing us to her animal friends. Inviting giraffes to poke their heads into the bus for a closer look at the Uaddans inside. Later in the afternoon we went on a hayride. The ranch brought along their ice chest full of beer and soda! They handed that out to all that were thirsty and to those that just love free drinks! When we got back from the hayride we were greeted with an open bar followed by a tasty steak dinner cooked just right and tender! Mmmmm After dinner the crew pulled the dinner tables and chairs back and the dancing began. Texas two step was taught to those that wanted to learn and some of us had to really try hard. But like always we had a great time even with the ranch dog sleeping in the middle of the dance floor. We rode the buses back to the hotel and most heads hit their pillows by 11:30 or so. Just between you and me I'll bet we have a few that continued to party in the hotel bar after we got back. Oh to have that energy.

Friday was a ball!!
At 12:30 we jumped in two beautiful European style touring buses and took a 45 minute drive out to the YO Ranch.
The wild flowers are a little past peak but they were every where. Purple, yellow and many more.
