Hi. I was a sophomore at Wheelus High in 53-54 and had Mr. Carlini for French. My name then was Mary Ann Miller (Snyder). I do not recall a Doug, but then u would have been a class behind, although our small student body of 35 students meant we pretty much knew everyone. I dated Steve Worden, one of the 3 seniors at the time. Also ran for Miss Tripoli, knew Nina Cron, & was a good friend of Ann Vuch. Those were some crazy times in Tripoli. Had a ball there and enjoyed living in such a different culture. We left Tripoli for Frankfurt, which was quite a change, but still think Tripoli was the best post.
