Tom died quietly in a Maryland hospice early this morning just six months after being diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer. His sister-in-law, Rita Henderson, Scott's widow, and nephew, Matthew were with him. The family will honor Tom's request for no memorial service, obituary or fuss over his death.
