I remember being out the day they took pictures for the year book. If memory serves, they put in a drawing of a bird or something in place of all the people without pictures. I was the skinny blond kid who was smart, but always cutting up in class and talking too much. During the spring of my soph year I hurt my knee playing baseball and wore a cast from my ankle to my hip for 6 weeks. It ruined my beach time, but got me out of classes early so I could make it through the halls and got me into the Teen club dances without paying.
I went to the Naval Academy and worked for the government for many years. Now I do consulting work and I am busy with my second brood of kids - three 12 year olds. My older 3 live in Idaho.
Jan is a school teacher in Austin and my brother Dean is a cop in Corpus Christi. We all graduated from John Jay HS in San Antonio after moving back from Wheelus.
