Glorious Sunsets, Palms swaying in its afterglow, Clear, starlit nights, hayrides? Dancing at Teen Club all night: Being Hypnotized! The Barracks, the home of the Teen Club; sitting in the covered benches waiting for the Blue Base Bus; endless freedom, feeling secure on Wheelus, even in the midst of Middle East Unrest; Lapis Magnus - Roman Ruins trip; very interesting days at the Beach, with the Tents and being thrown by the undertow back up on the shore like a drenched rat. I learned a lot about life on those beaches - long hours spent in friendship; taking the Bus to the movies every Saturday afternoon; I rushed through my chores at home to get there and secure the seats in the back rows!! No comments please; grin, grin. The layout of the school, Mrs. Ramage, Miss Gobi - the French teacher; cheerleading tryouts, June Ward; Captain of the cheerleaders, the blue skirts and white sweatshirts uniform? Cheering at the basketball games, lockers without doors in the hallways, the tree in the middle of the courtyard at the school' and the bench around it? My nose in the dirt as a Frog, my skirt and black blouse on backwards, my hair in bobby pin curls!! Speaking only French in French class, or trying to!! And burning things in Home Ec. - I always made a mess, still do!! Most of all, I remember each face as I hear the names again, some names and faces, I have remembered ever since, and carried you close in my heart for the past Forty-Seven Years!!
