You don't say so, but I'm assuming that your concern has arisen from the fact that there is some vibration evident in the engine. Small diesels are notorious for this. If there is a problem with either the engine mounts or the engine bed, you'll need to determnine which it is first. You may be able to tell this by observation as someone pushes or lifts on the engine from various positions. Whether it is the engine bed or engine mounts, I can't think of much you can do short of removing the engine and mounts to replace/rebuild the offending part. A lot of the original engine beds were wooden on the port side and an angle iron on the starboard side.
