My dodger is worn out and I'm making a new one. Having sailed with and without, I can't imagine not having one. I like Bill's idea of having a facility to zip an extension on to the dodger to add shade to the cockpit when desireable. --Previous Message-- : Anybody EVER found an outlet for buying tanks : of CNG? I've seen another : sailor live aboard's version that he claims : really enhances his comfort, -a hardtop : model, one that extends a ways over his : cockpit and provides bassically an entry : room. I'd appreciate any comments from : cruisiing 30 sailors about the value/comfort : derived from sailing with or without a : Dodger and wether or not to extend it out : over the cockpit has proved handy/desirable : or just superfluous and inconvenient. I plan : to live aboard and cruise. :
