As I recall, the Tarten 30 mast step is on the keel, in the bilge, where its wet. The yankee 30 step is high and dry, on the deck of the head, and mine (hull #10)has experienced no significant in 30 years. --Previous Message-- : How well have the Yankee 30's mast steps held : up?
